NPR: Chinese, Taiwanese Leaders to Meet in Singapore

This weekend, Chinese President Xi Jinping will join Taiwanese President Ma Ying-jeou in Singapore for an historic meeting. Since the end of the Chinese civil war more than 66 years ago, the two sides could be taking a significant step toward what China calls the great goal of national unification.
