Arts at 51
Inspiring Creative Minds for Lives of Leadership and Service
Sculpture. Readings. Plays. Exhibitions. Chorale. It's all happening here.
At 51, our focus is on collaborating across the arts and sciences, creating a transdisciplinary approach to learning for all students.
At the Galleries
The William H. Van Every and Edward M. Smith Galleries support the academic mission of the college through the presentation, interpretation, and discussion of art in all media, nurturing individual thinking, visual literacy, and a lifelong commitment to the arts.
Artist Series
The C. Shaw and Nancy K. Smith Artist Series offers an ever-growing selection of entertainment, culture and quality, bringing acts to campus such as Second City, Urban Bush Women, and Les Ballet Trockadero de Monte Carlo.
Student Resources and Opportunities
Whether you're interested in research funding, securing a grant for an artistic pursuit, or learning about career options, we offer a wealth of opportunities to help you successfully integrate the arts into your 51 experience.
