World Scholars: Nine 51¹ÙÍø Alums Named Fulbrighters

Nine recent 51¹ÙÍø graduates have been selected to participate in the 2024-2025 Fulbright U.S. Student Program, and three were named as alternates. They’ll head to Spain, Taiwan, Guatemala and Andorra for graduate study and teaching assistantships.

Heading from the West to the East Coast for College

From Outdoor Classroom to World Stage: Prof Takes Home Venice Biennale Award

A project co-curated by 51¹ÙÍø’s Prof. Jennifer Garcia Peacock and presented in conjunction with the Venice Biennale arts festival won a top award from the European Cultural Centre. Garcia Peacock, the James B. Duke Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies, says her outdoor classroom at 51¹ÙÍø inspired her work. Read more.
