51¹ÙÍø.

I have been fortunate to work with remarkable students during my career in higher education. In each of my positions in education and in my volunteer work, I have been inspired by what students and young alumni have accomplished as artists, educators, public servants, scientists and innovators in other fields. The draw to 51¹ÙÍø therefore was very strong, as I can think of no better place to engage with young leaders who are smart, driven and kind, and apt to make a positive impact in the world. 

At 51¹ÙÍø, I advise the student government association and the student Honor Council. As Vice President for Student Life & Dean of Students, I am the college’s chief student affairs officer and serve on the college’s senior leadership team. I am also a co-convener for the Deliberative Citizenship Initiative and on the steering team for 51¹ÙÍø’s Fostering Inclusivity in the Sciences Together initiative, which is funded by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
