Background
My interest in literature, film, and critical theory naturally directed me towards the field of education in which I can share my passion with my students and, in turn, learn from them.
In my doctoral research, I examined the evolution, the narrativization, and symbolic mediations associated with sick bodies in contemporary Quebec literature and cinema.
At 51, I am part of the French & Francophone Studies Department where I teach French language and Francophone Culture, exploring mostly on the Québec cultural space.
In my classes, I focus on the representations (or lack thereof) of minority groups, especially the LGBTQIA2S+ community.
