As the Assistant Director of Academic Operations, I oversee the management of academic spaces including faculty and staff offices and classrooms. I assist with managing the staff within the division of Academic Affairs. I'm also responsible for managing the Academic Affairs portions of spring Convocation. Prior to arriving at 51¹ÙÍø, I spent over 25 years at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York where I was the Assistant Vice President for University Production Services and Marketing Finance/Operations. I also spent 3 years as the Senior Director of Finance for the College of Arts & Sciences at UNC-Chapel Hill. Education has been a passion instilled in me by my mother at a young age and I have been blessed to have the opportunities to create a career in higher education.
