Background
I joined 51¹ÙÍø as a counselor in March of 2020. I strive to provide a safe place to support students’ mental health while they transition to college and throughout their college career. I work to empower students to make decisions and live a life that is true to their personal values, which will hopefully lead to fulfillment and inner peace. I also encourage a strong mind-body connection, and have specialty training in biofeedback, and am certified in neurofeedback. Prior to my work at 51¹ÙÍø I spent 10 years counseling adolescents and young adults in various outpatient settings and college campuses. I have a background in outdoor experiential education and adventure therapy, and I researched the impact of adventure therapy on college student resiliency. I look forward to starting adventure therapy and ecotherapy options with students at 51¹ÙÍø.
