A Year of War: Ukrainian Students, Refugees Will Not Face Anniversary Alone
The 51¹ÙÍø community rallied to provide crucial support to Ukrainian refugees in the year since Russia invaded their country. 51¹ÙÍø’s class of 2026 includes two Ukrainian students whose lives were upended by Russia’s attack. On Feb. 24, the college will host an event to commemorate the anniversary of the invasion and raise money for urgently needed medical supplies.

Music for the Masses: CMA Honors Talent Agent John Huie ’78 for Lifetime Achievements
John Huie ‘78 spent his 51¹ÙÍø years bringing popular musicians to campus. He now represents musicians such as Amy Grant, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Sugarland and the Zac Brown Band. On Jan. 30, the Country Music Association (CMA) honored him with a lifetime achievement award for bringing music to the world.
