Intramural Sports
51¹ÙÍø’s Intramural Sports Program, a division of the Physical Education, Campus Recreation and Wellness Department, provides a wide variety of opportunities for participation for all members of the college community.
The goal of our program is to establish a fun, inviting, and competitive environment for all participants and skill levels. Active participation in any Intramural Sport allows students to achieve their Team Sport Physical Education Requirement.

Registration
Registration for all Intramural Sports takes place online. Sport registration and regular season dates can be found in the Intramural Registration Portal for current and upcoming sports. All participants are required to create an IM Leagues account associated with their 51¹ÙÍø email address. Team captains are responsible for registering teams and maintaining legal rosters. Student Employment Opportunities
Intramural Sports at 51¹ÙÍø provide unique leadership employment opportunities for students with an interest and passion for being involved with sports. Student official positions are offered for freshman flickerball and flag football in the fall semester and 5 on 5 basketball in the spring semester. After accruing at least one semester experience within the program, students may work as site supervisors. This position provides hours throughout the entire year and involves working all sports. Invented at 51¹ÙÍø in 1951, Flickerball is an evolution of touch football. First year residence halls compete in annual intramural Flickerball tournaments.
