What's Different About the 2024 - 2025 Meal Plans?
Returning students for the 2024-2025 school year will continue to choose from a 2/Week Plus, 4/Week Plus, 6/Week Plus, 8/Week Plus, 10/Week Plus or All Access Meal Plan.
All students entering in the Fall 2024 (Class of 2028 and transfers) and all classes that follow, except students living off-campus, will be required to be on the All Access Plan until graduation. This All Access Plan will provide unlimited visits to Vail Commons at any time it is open and an amount of Dining Dollars that may be used at all 51¹ÙÍø Dining campus retail locations and vending machines. Dining Dollars may also be used at Summit Coffee on campus. Dining Dollars that are not spent in the fall semester will automatically roll over to the spring semester for use. Any Dining Dollars that are unspent at the end of the spring semester do not roll over to the following academic year.
Beginning Fall 2024, Vail Commons will have uninterrupted service from open to close.
Members of the Class of 2028, and all classes that follow, will continue to have the opportunity to join and eat in a Patterson Court organization that serves meals beginning with their second year. Members of those houses will pay the same All Access Plan rate that other students pay and will receive a hybrid meal plan that will include their Patterson Court meals and a number of meals that may be taken at Vail Commons and an amount of Dining Dollars. The combination of these plans will provide the equivalent of 21 meals per week.
2024 - 2025 Meal Plan Information
The All-Access Unlimited Meal Plan allows students to use unlimited meal swipes at Vail Commons each week! Along with these meal swipes, students on this plan receive six retail meal swipes per week to be used at any location other than Vail Commons and has a value of $12 per swipe. Dining Dollars may be used to cover the extra expense if a purchase is over the $12 value. Davis Café, Wildcat Den, Qdoba, The Commons Market, and Summit Coffee Outpost all accept retail meal swipes. The retail meal swipes reset every Sunday morning and do NOT carry over from week to week.
The meal plan swipes associated with each Week Plus plan can only be used at Vail Commons and restart every Sunday morning at 6 a.m. Each of these Week Plus plans come with Dining Dollars, as well. Davis Café, Wildcat Den, Qdoba, Summit Coffee Outpost, Vail Commons, The Commons Market, and all snack and beverage vending machines on-campus are available for use with Dining Dollars. Unused Dining Dollars in the fall semester carry over to the spring semester. Any unused Dining Dollars at the end of the spring semester will not roll over to the following fall semester.
When a student exhausts their meal swipes for the week, Dining Dollars may be used to visit Vail Commons at a deeply discounted price. To utilize Dining Dollars at Vail Commons is a great economical strategy to stretch meal plans. Explore Vail Commons door prices.
