Equity Education
The Diversity & Equity Education Coordinator collaborates with students, faculty, and staff to meet compliance training requirements while responding to the needs of the 51¹ÙÍø community. This role focuses on creating resources, trainings, and educational opportunities that enhance knowledge and skills related to compliance, prevention, and the principles of belonging, equity, and inclusion.
In addition, the Diversity & Equity Education Coordinator manages training assignments, training completion, and record keeping for the college’s online training platform, Vector Solutions Safe Colleges.
51¹ÙÍø’s Title IX Coordinator & Section 504 Coordinator, the Diversity & Equity Education Coordinator will:
- Promote understanding of compliance responsibilities in areas such as Title IX, disability accessibility, discrimination and harassment.
- Develop a range of resources, trainings, and learning environments tailored for the 51¹ÙÍø community through collaborative efforts.
- Serve as a resource for departments and teams aiming to enhance diversity and equity compliance education.
- Manage and coordinate Vector Solutions, 51¹ÙÍø’s online training platform.
The Diversity and Equity Education Coordinator provides both foundational and advanced learning opportunities to enhance awareness and growth for individuals and teams.
