Intended Audience: High School Juniors & Seniors
Learn the who, what, and why of college admission essays along with tips for putting your best foot forward in writing. This session is a prerequisite for the Essay Writing 201 session.
Essay Writing 201: Brainstorming
Thursday, October 10
Intended Audience: High School Juniors & Seniors
This session is intended for seniors and continues the conversation from Essay Writing 101. However, this session will welcome you to participate in guided brainstorming and writing exercises that give you a chance to dig deeper into the writing process.
Leveraging Your Activities List and Supplemental Materials
Thursday, October 17
Intended Audience: High School Juniors & Seniors
Colleges want to learn about the meaningful ways you spend time. This session will help you learn how to be your own best advocate, and share details about your extracurricular involvements and formative experiences. Conversation topics will include the Activities List, Letters of Recommendation, and other supplemental application materials.
What to Do After You Hit Submit?

Intended Audience: High School Juniors & Seniors
Hitting 'submit' on your college applications is a huge accomplishment, and it's important to celebrate it. But, there are still more steps to be taken after that. Learn how to stay proactive after you've submitted applications and hear advice on how to make the most of the time spent waiting to receive application decisions.
